it's a boy!

Come on, were we really thinking it was going to be a girl?
Okay, I was for a little while, but really am excited to add a new baby boy to our family. I'm so relieved to know the sex of this baby and be able to plan for next April. Yes, April. The same month my other two children have birthday, not to mention that this one is due on Ammon's birthday.
It looks like we are going to have a crazy week of birthdays celebrations every April. And this is the result of not planning you all. At least April is a nice month to have a baby. I was really in a good place when I went in for my ultrasound and felt like I would be really excited for either a boy or girl, and when the doc said told me the news I just couldn't stop laughing in disbelief. I really thought it would be fun for my boys to have another little boy to play with. And I'm excited to have three boys in a row, I just wish I could get some kind of guarantee that there is going to be some pink somewhere in the future.
Dave's thoughts on having another boy: "We need some more yard work to do." I'm excited for him to have another little boy to train up, he is such a great dad. We are excited, excited, and excited.

Don't mess with Ammon at breakfast...

Sugar cereal was on a super sale, and I couldn't resist. I won't make that mistake again. That cereal caused more problems/arguements/hyper kids then it was worth.

Ammon

I just adore this little boy. I wanted to write a few things about him so I can look back later and remember what a fun time I had with him when he was 2 1/2. I often call him my 'little jumping bean'. One of his favorite ways to get from point A, to point B is to jump, jumps that go up and down more then forward. It cracks me up to see all the energy he has coming out of him. I don't get through many days without getting to snuggle and tickle Ammon for a little while. He loves to crawl into my lap and just let me cuddle him. As we were snuggling one morning he says, "Kiss my necklace." I though it was cute he confused the word neck with necklace, and also that he was requesting kisses all over his neck. He often gives me an unexpected thank you, like: "Thank you for making this food Momma." or "Thank you for reading this book to me." Each book we read he is required to give me a kiss and hug and say 'I love you'. He loves to sing, "She'll be coming 'round the mountain", and "All Creatures of Our God and King (?)". He loves to play kitty kats, and pretend he is baby Hulk. And he is extremely nurturing to his little teddy bear. I love you so much little Ammon, don't ever grow up, and don't let anybody, besides me, ever give you neck kisses.

Thanks Tawni

My good friend Tawni wanted to practice some photo skills and we were the lucky ones to benefit. We went to the Heritage Park in Cedar Hills and had a lot of fun.

All my favorite boys.

Ammon being awesome and cooperating like usual.

I don't know what to say about this picture. I guess you have to be engaged to be married to take a good picture together.

Alright, this is as good as we get:
