Discovery Museum

In January Dave had a day off so we headed up to the Discovery Museum....

The mouse house (sooo cute inside)

The little grocery store...

Just a cute baby who followed us around the museum...

This is me trying to pull away from his death grip...

They loved the helicopter...

What do you think? Do they have a future as reporters? I think they might need a little more practice...

Yummm

During Christmas Ann made some reaaaaaalllllyyyy good orange rolls. So good that I was still drooling at just the thought of them weeks later, so I tried to make them. The recipe made a really big batch, so we ate them for just about every meal for a couple of days. When I gave the boys an orange roll at breakfast they kept saying stuff like, "Wow, we get dessert?!", "Yay, we get junkfood for breakfast...!!! Mom, why are you giving us junkfood for breakfast?"
I was starting to feel a little guilty about serving orange rolls, people have that for breakfast, come on boys, I'm just trying to be a cool mom.

Ammon and Lincoln

Ammon loooooooves his baby brother. He quickly runs to his aid if Lincoln fusses about anything. Here Ammon had been playing a computer game and his little brother started to cry. Not wanting to stop the computer game Ammon jumps down on the floor with the mouse, so he can still play, while issuing words of comfort to Lincoln.
And how many brothers do you know who will go to such great lengths as to turn themselves into human sandwiches to entertain their uninterested baby brother? (Ammon's trying to get Lincoln to eat him.)

Waiting for Dad to get home

Bath Time

I love how Josh is keeping Lincoln decent
I told him that if he would practice putting his head under water and blow bubbles out his nose I would sign him up for swim lessons, hence the goggles (little does he know that I was going to sign him up anyway).

@ 9 months

Legos

There has been so much of this lately....

Where Lincoln is banished to when the little Legos come out...

I love Ammon's space ships. This is a little ship with just a lot of switches. He told me the other day, "Mom, my ships aren't very cool. Sometimes I just pick up one Lego and that's my whole ship."

Bus stop

Our bus stop is right across the street. I needed to be great full every time Josh runs out there to get on the bus. It is so great and I really don't know how we got so lucky to even have bus service to and from school. I was watching him through the window the other morning and couldn't figure out what he was so lovingly holding close to himself.
Turns out it was just a big slab of icy snow that only a five year old could see the beauty in.
