Love these girls

Julie and Missy! I've known them now for almost 20 years. Somehow we all ended up living close to each other in Utah and love the times we get to get together and watch our kids play. I think I love these girls so much because I look up to each of them so much. They've always inspired me to want to be better. I love the memories I have with them of girls camp, high school, dances, and laughing, oh the laughter. How blessed I am to have them. Love you girls.
And sorry, I had to dig through some old pictures:

EFY at 15 years old. Chico, Ca.

Faith Hill-Tim McGraw concert at the Concord Pavillion.

Girls Camp, 17 years old.

Missy and me in the school quad on a foggy California morning.
Julie and I ass BFFs, or FFB's?

And this is what keeps us busy these days:

Nerd Fun

I think it hit me while I was downloading the second Weird Al song of the night that we might really be nerds. Josh had invited Uncle Craig over (who was in town for the week) after he witnessed his crazy Lego skills. We had a fun dinner and then all dove into the Lego's and then the night deteriorated to downloading Weird Al songs, and staying up way too late finding that perfect Lego piece. When Craig's creation was finally done we realized that in the time he spent making one sweet scorpion (Bionicle pieces and Lego pieces beautifully combined-only 4 hours) I did the dishes, went for a run, showered, made a baby quilt, and cleaned up the house. We had a lot of fun and when I tried to get Dave to admit that really we just are a bunch of nerds he wouldn't admit it and tried to convince me instead that we were just 'on the other side of cool'. Thanks Craig! I can't wait for our next big Lego Throwdown.
And thank you Ammon for picking your nose for our picture,
it totally adds to our sweetness.

Big Boy

Big day for Lincoln. I finally put him in his big boy car seat. I love this sight.

I love Preschool

(I noticed Dave had dressed him in this picture, two different shoes! Who does that? If I'm desperate and can't find shoes then I put church shoes on, but never does it cross my mind to put on two different shoes. Funny.)
