Easter Activities

This year we had a lot of Easter activities!  We always try and do all the fun Easter traditions before the actual Easter Sunday so that on Sunday we are able to relax and talk about and feel the spirit of what Easter is really about.

We made sure to dye our eggs

On Saturday night we had a family egg hunt.  Lincoln gets the head start:

Had a egg hunt with the girls on Friday night while we were babysitting them.

On Saturday morning we went to the city's egg hunt.  Here is Lincoln with his buddies Thomas and Tillman Matsumori.

We even did a glow in the dark egg hunt for the neighborhood kids this year.

Rockets

The boys all got rockets for Christmas.  It took them awhile to get them all built and painted and ready to fly.  We grabbed some neighborhood friends (Jack Perkins and Owen Johnson) and drove down to Lone Peak High School to launch them off.

It was cold!  Do you see the steam coming off the cold ground from the heat of the rocket?

 The race to catch it:

Ammon actually pulls this excited face often when we are doing something fun.  Cute.

 Lincoln gets a turn, too!
