Who is this kid?

I know this picture is not the best but I had to capture my little boy at the Dinosaur Museum the other day. He dresses like this all the time, and I often just let him. I figured out a while ago that is so not worth the fight to make him wear what I think is cute. He has such strong opinions about what he is wearing. If we are going somewhere special and I really want him to wear something nicer he just cries and cries and says things like, "What if my teacher doesn't like these shoes?", or "I don't like my self in this shirt mommy!" I feel so bad and just let him wear what ever he is comfortable in. It surprises me that such a little boy would already notice these things, and feel more confident in certain clothes. He has always been really observant whenever I do any little decorating projects, and I think he is just a visual learner. Anyway, that brings us to days like these when we are at the museum and he is just walking around like this and I have to laugh. What to do?

Well, at least he's not wearing Batman Underoos. Is he?

i hear ya on this one. clayton is VERY picky about his clothes. Nothing can be touching his ankles or wrists or he throws a fit. So funny that he was at the dino museum in his cape. I love it!

I guess it's just one more way that our children show us their personalities. My daughters are like this as well. I guess there are bigger battles to be fought so Go Batman!
