We finally bought ourselves a "new" car, a Lexus 450 1997. Here is Dave doing about $1000 or work on it. He has saved us a ton of money by learning how to work on cars by talking to other mechanics/friends/internet. I have been extremely impressed that he's actually been able to do that, so of course I want my boys out there so his example can rub off on them, and not to mention that they love this kind of stuff too.
This is the 1995 Buick Park Avenue that we drove for three years. When my Grandma Moss moved in with my parents she parked her car in the driveway and never drove it again. She kept offering it to us and when we realized how much we could save up we couldn't pass up her offer. Because of her sweet offer we were able to save up and pay for our next car. Thank you Grandma Moss, we will always remember your generosity.
